Google Ireland is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and coach a high-performing Dutch sales team that uses strong sales skills to understand advertisers’ needs and deliver measurable digital advertising solutions that grow their businesses.

You will guide relationships with high-potential SMBs in the Netherlands, set objectives with the sales leadership team, drive day-to-day operations, and ensure the team hits ambitious business goals while delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

/Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience/
/11 years of sales experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, business development, or advertising agencies/
/Experience in people management leading sales teams in the Netherlands/
/Fluent Dutch communication to engage with clients in the region/
/8+ years of experience managing relationships with customers, agencies, and partners at executive level/
/Experience in SMB sales in the Netherlands/
/Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and e-commerce dynamics/

DESCRIPTION: As a Sales Manager, you will lead and coach a high-performing Dutch sales team that uses strong sales skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses. You will lead relationships and sales engagement with high-potential small businesses from all verticals and business models in the Netherlands market. Be it a startup or a more mature business, wherever they stand in their journey, your team sets them up for long-term sustained success by bringing the best of digital advertising solutions from Google. In this role, you will enable your team to always reach ambitious business and productivity goals. Your knowledge of the business landscape and online media, combined with your sales and investigative abilities, shapes how new and existing clients will grow. You will also work with the sales leadership team to set objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business. Sales Managers willingly help their teams and roll up their sleeves to partner directly with clients to provide comprehensive service.

Ireland: €132000 - €135000 (EUR) + 75% bonus target + equity + benefits

REQUERIMENTS

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
11 years of sales experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, business development, or advertising agencies.
Experience in a people management role leading sales teams in the Netherlands market.
Ability to communicate in Dutch fluently to engage with clients in the region.
Preferred qualifications: 8 years of experience managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners at an executive level.
Experience working in SMB (Small and Medium-sized Business) sales in the Netherlands market.
Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics or e-commerce experience, with an understanding of e-commerce dynamics.
Ability to model and coach sales behaviors including executive level engagement, effective questioning, objection managing, engaged offerings, including track record in commercial teams.
Ability to grow in a rapidly changing environment, and effective problem-solving skills.
