Job summary

Viatel Technology Group is seeking an Account Director to win new clients and grow revenue across an assigned portfolio. The role blends new business acquisition with account development to deliver recurring income and a strong customer experience.

You will identify opportunities, manage client relationships, negotiate agreements and drive end-to-end sales cycles. The position is based in Dublin with hybrid work arrangements and a path to scale our digital services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Sales role within the IT/communications Industry.
• In-depth experience of planning and implementing sales strategies in the IT services industry.
• Proven track record of winning new clients and growing existing accounts to targets.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to use data to back up decisions.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and win new clients through outreach and referrals.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of existing clients and grow recurring revenue.
• Lead pre-sales meetings and negotiate commercial terms for projects.
• Own the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to closing and post-sale care.
• Collaborate with clients and Viatel teams to ensure best-in-class service.
• Develop strategic roadmaps with clients and work with marketing on campaigns.
• Maintain clear communications and manage expectations throughout engagements.
• Utilise CRM to track opportunities, stages and documentation.
