Job summary

Spencer Recruitment Ltd in Dublin is partnering with a growing social and creative agency to recruit an Account Director. You will lead senior client relationships, own strategy across campaigns, and collaborate with strategy, creative, paid media and production teams in Dublin and London.

You will manage revenue, budgets and margins while mentoring Account Managers and Executives, ensuring social-first, high-quality outputs, and driving growth for key accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience as Account Director or Senior Account Manager ready to step up.
• Background in social, digital, or integrated agency.
• Strong commercial understanding including revenue and margins.

Responsibilities

Spencer Recruitment is working with a growing social and creative agency to recruit an Account Director for its Dublin team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Director, or a strong Senior Account Manager ready to step up, who enjoys owning senior client relationships, driving commercial growth and delivering high-quality social-first work.

You will take the lead across a portfolio of key client accounts, working closely with strategy, creative, paid media and production teams across London and Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and develop senior client relationships across key accounts
• Lead account strategy across always-on, campaign and content programmes
• Identify opportunities to grow and develop existing client accounts
• Manage account revenue, forecasting, budgets and margins
• Brief and guide creative and strategy teams
• Ensure work is social-first, culturally relevant and commercially effective

What We’re Looking For

• Account Director experience, or Senior Account Manager experience with readiness to step up

• Strong senior client and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent understanding of social media platforms and social-first content
• Experience with creator/influencer-led campaigns
• Strong commercial understanding, including revenue and margin management
• Experience leading multidisciplinary agency teams
• Confident managing multiple accounts and campaigns simultaneously
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable working within a fast-moving, entrepreneurial agency environment
