Job summary
Schneider Electric Ireland is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to lead technical delivery of Power/Energy Monitoring and Control System projects across the Data Centre, Utilities, Grid & Renewables, and Life Sciences sectors. You will guide technical design, integration, testing, and commissioning activities while supporting both junior engineers and project stakeholders.
You will be a key technical point of contact—ensuring solutions meet project scope, budget, and schedule, and maintaining
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (Level 8 or higher).
- 5+ years’ experience in Electrical Controls, Monitoring or Building Management Systems.
- Knowledge of PLC/SCADA/EPMS design or installation is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and execution for complex system architectures across design, integration, testing, FAT, installation, and commissioning stages.
- Work with Project Managers and Operations to ensure successful project delivery and on-time milestones.
- Coach junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and delivery quality.
