Job summary

Tricel is seeking a Data Manager in Ireland to lead the single source of commercial and marketing data. You will own definitions of metrics, govern data quality, and ensure accurate, auditable reporting across CRM, marketing systems, and sales pipelines.

You will manage reporting and dashboard environments, oversee data integration, and enforce data protection and access controls. Collaboration with the Data Specialist will ensure consistent definitions and governance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Data Management, Data Governance, BI/Analytics, or Reporting Leadership.
• Experience establishing data governance frameworks, reporting standards, and metric definitions.
• Strong understanding of data quality management, data lineage, master data principles, and reporting controls.
• Experience with CRM systems, marketing platforms, data warehouses, reporting tools, and dashboard technologies.
• Knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, and data architecture concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with evidence-based recommendations.
• Experience managing stakeholders and influencing decisions across multiple business functions.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing technical or analytical team members.
• Good understanding of GDPR, data protection requirements, access controls, and information governance.

Responsibilities

• Define, document, and govern all commercial and marketing reporting measures with auditable records.
• Maintain a single, authoritative source of business data, documenting data sources and lineage.
• Establish and monitor data quality standards across key records and systems.
• Design entry and validation rules to prevent poor data quality.
• Enforce data quality standards across systems with ownership and validation rules.
• Retire unused reports to reduce maintenance costs and contradictions.
• Ensure published reports state source, definition reference, and data refresh date.
• Be accountable for accuracy of published numbers and correct when needed.
• Specify and maintain data flows between systems for reporting purposes.
• Document, monitor, and maintain all data integration and reporting workflows.
