Job summary

Tricel Group is seeking a Data Manager at Ballyspillane Industrial Estate, Killarney, Ireland. Reporting to the Group Head of Marketing, the Data Manager will be responsible for ensuring the Group has a single, trusted source of commercial and marketing data to support decision-making across the business.

The role will lead the definition, governance, quality, and integrity of business data, ensuring measures are clearly defined, consistently applied, and accurately reported.

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Governance, Analytics, BI, or Reporting Leadership.
• Experience establishing data governance frameworks, reporting standards and metric definitions.
• Strong understanding of data quality, data lineage and reporting controls.
• Experience with CRM systems, marketing platforms, data warehouses and dashboards.
• Knowledge of data integration, ETL, and data architecture concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with evidence-based recommendations.
• Experience managing stakeholders across multiple functions.
• GDPR knowledge and data protection awareness.

Responsibilities

• Define, document, and govern all commercial and marketing reporting measures with auditable records.
• Maintain a single authoritative source of business data and reporting lineage.
• Establish and monitor data quality standards across key systems and records.
• Design entry and validation rules to prevent poor data quality.
• Enforce data quality standards and drive corrective actions for data accuracy.
• Retire unused reports and ensure published reports cite sources and definitions.
• Ensure data governance, access controls, and data protection compliance.
• Document data flows between systems and oversee data integration workflows.
• Provide analysis to support commercial and marketing decisions with transparent method and assumptions.
• Lead and develop the Data Specialist; manage reporting demand and quality.
