Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer (Regulatory Focus) based in Ireland to strengthen regulatory compliance across crypto and payments.

You will lead licensing efforts, develop compliance frameworks, and engage regulators, external counsel, and cross-functional teams to implement robust controls. You will translate regulatory requirements into practical policies, evidence, and implementation plans, driving high-quality documentation and oversight across multiple jurisdictions and

Qualifications

• 5+ years in regulatory compliance, incl. 3+ years in fintech/payments.
• Experience drafting regulatory applications and AML/CFT frameworks.
• Knowledge of EMI/PI, CASP/VASP, MiCA or equivalent frameworks.
• Fluent English with strong regulatory drafting & written communications.
• Willingness to travel to EU offices and work across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to licensing applications and related governance documents.
• Draft, review, and maintain compliance policies, risk assessments, and control descriptions.
• Coordinate responses to RFIs from regulators, external counsel, and consultants.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on policies and controls.
• Provide compliance guidance on new products, partners, and changes to the business model.
• Lead multiple regulatory workstreams with rigorous documentation and controls.
