Job summary

Fortivum in Dublin is seeking experienced Cost Managers / Quantity Surveyors at Senior and Associate Director levels to deliver high-value data centre projects across Europe. This role offers exposure to the full lifecycle from feasibility to final accounts and a clear path toward chartered status (MSCSI/MRICS) through a structured development programme.

You will lead cost planning, procurement support, and cost reporting while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a RICS/SCSI-accredited discipline.
• Experience in cost management or quantity surveying, ideally on data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, proactive, adaptable and team-oriented.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with cost management software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Cost planning, value engineering, and benchmarking across feasibility, design and delivery phases.
• Support procurement strategy, tender preparation and contract management.
• Manage cost reporting, cash flow forecasts, risk analysis and final accounts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and clients.
• Drive digital innovation with tools like Bluebeam, CostX and Power BI, and promote sustainability.
