Job summary

Acmrec, a leading Irish QS and cost management consultancy in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Cost Manager to lead cost management on major data centre schemes from feasibility to delivery.

Based in an office setting in Dublin, you will prepare cost plans, budgets and tender reports, provide strategic cost advice, and support tender analysis while mentoring junior staff within a growing team.

Qualifications

• Experience as Cost Manager or Senior QS in a consultancy or PQS environment.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related field.
• MRICS/MSCSI (or working towards) preferred.
• Strong grasp of Irish contract forms and cost planning methodology.
• Confident client-facing communicator with analytical and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management on large-scale data centre projects from feasibility through to completion.
• Prepare cost plans, feasibility budgets and tender reports for client-side stakeholders.
• Provide strategic cost advice throughout the project lifecycle.
• Carry out tender analysis and contractor selection support from a client perspective.
• Manage client budgets and advise on cost risk and mitigation strategies.
• Conduct lifecycle cost analysis on complex, high-spec builds.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships across a growing data centre portfolio.
• Mentor and support junior cost management staff within the team.
