Cumming Group is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to join our Dublin team. You will deliver cost estimates, procurement advice, and post-contract administration across projects from concept to completion, guiding teams and clients with expert judgment.

With 6+ years in cost consultancy and MRICS or equivalent status, you will mentor juniors, negotiate contracts, and contribute to business development while delivering value across sectors in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years in cost consultancy or quantity surveying.
• MRICS, AssocRICS, or equivalent chartered status (or working towards).
• Strong knowledge of construction technology, local procurement and tendering, Irish standard forms (RIAI, GCCC).
• Understanding of construction law, tax implications, insurance, and delivery methodologies in Ireland.
• Excellent commercial awareness and experience delivering projects across sectors.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with clients.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Review, interpret, and prepare cost estimates across design and construction.
• Provide procurement advice, tender analysis, and reports.
• Lead and manage client accounts, attending key meetings.
• Review contracts and participate in negotiations.
• Evaluate change orders and pricing throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage contract administration and cost controls in construction phase.
• Deliver cost management services, value engineering and cashflow forecasting.
• Prepare project plans, fee proposals, and resourcing plans.
• Support senior management with client reporting and performance tracking.
• Mentor junior cost consultants and commercial managers.
