Job summary

Deloitte Ireland LLP is seeking a senior Cost Management professional in Dublin to lead cost control and budgeting for major capital projects, including data centre infrastructure. You will shape standards, drive continuous improvement, and mentor a growing team within Deloitte's global network.

You will engage senior stakeholders, develop robust business cases, and advise on procurement strategies while delivering transparent reporting and value engineering opportunities across the division.

Qualifications

• Extensive cost management experience on major capital projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera and project cost systems with Earned Value techniques.
• Professional accreditation (MRICS or MSCSI or equivalent).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure Guidelines and CWMF.
• Experience advising on cost risks, procurement strategies, and disputes.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management strategy and practice development across projects.
• Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets and forecasts.
• Develop scalable cost management systems and champion digital tools.
• Build and maintain strategic client relationships and serve as primary cost contact.
• Advise on cost risks, procurements, and disputes; mentor the team.
• Establish a cost database to support accurate estimating and learning.
