John Sisk & Son in Cork, Ireland is seeking a General Site Supervisor to lead multiple site sections under the Site Manager, ensuring safe, on-time delivery and quality on medium to large-scale projects. You will supervise daily activities, coordinate Section and Assistant Supervisors, and oversee subcontractors to meet programme and cost targets.

You will maintain HSEQS standards, manage site records and resources, and mentor junior staff while contributing to productivity and discipline on

Qualificações

• Trade or technical background with substantial site supervision experience.
• IOSH or equivalent health and safety training.
• Temporary works and excavation safety training.
• Working at heights and scaffolding training.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily construction activities across multiple sections of the site.
• Lead Section Site Supervisors and Assistant Site Supervisors to deliver works in line with programme, cost and quality targets.
• Monitor the performance of subcontractors and workforce to ensure contract compliance.
• Implement and maintain health, safety, environmental and quality management practices on site.
• Ensure site records, including daily logs, inspection reports, and material records, are up to date.
• Coordinate with Site Manager to allocate resources and prioritise work effectively.
• Identify operational risks, report issues and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in site briefings, toolbox talks and coordination meetings.
• Mentor junior site staff and contribute to team capability development.
• Support Site Manager in maintaining site discipline, productivity and company culture.
