Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to provide direct operational support to project teams, ensuring HSE standards are applied on site throughout delivery. You will lead safety tasks, advise project managers and embed safety in planning, execution and close-out.

Essentially, you will manage compliance, investigations and reporting, while promoting a culture of safety and engagement across staff and subcontractors on large construction projects in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice in construction.
• Proven experience in managing health and safety on large construction projects.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills across all staff levels.
• Excellent organizational, reporting and communication abilities.
• Ability to identify, assess and manage risks in dynamic projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the health and safety function on assigned projects.
• Provide advice and direction to project teams on safety requirements.
• Embed safety in planning, delivery and close-out phases.
• Prepare and present regular safety reports to leadership.
• Maintain records of inspections, incidents and corrective actions.
