Job summary

John Sisk & Son, a family-owned construction company with a global reach, is seeking a Site Agent in Limerick to lead site operations. You will supervise all site activities, ensure safety, quality and sustainability protocols, and drive project delivery from mobilisation to completion.

Responsibilities include setting up the site, coordinating subcontractors, managing records, and maintaining adherence to the project execution plan within budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Trade or technical background is required.
• IOSH or equivalent health and safety management training is required.
• Temporary works and excavation safety training is required.
• Training in permitting for live energy works is required.
• Training in working at heights and scaffolding is required.
• Training in lifting and cranage operations is required.
• Other HSEQS training as per site HSE plan is required.
• Knowledge of new construction technology systems is required.
• Understanding of BIM strategy is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in compiling the initial programme and understand weekly targets.
• Plan and oversee site setup to ensure facilities are in place before project launch.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors on site.
• Ensure health, safety, environment, quality and sustainability (HSEQS) protocols are followed at all times.
• Maintain quality control procedures.
• Ensure the temporary works register is in place and kept up to date.
• Highlight issues to the contract management or commercial teams that may affect project delivery including materials, resources, schedules, safety or costs.
• Drive the pace of the project and plan the work on site.
• Monitor onsite energy and waste data.
• Coordinate and prioritise the sequence of activities.
• Manage foremen and site staff.
• Lead daily whiteboard meetings.
• Ensure employees follow correct incident protocols on site.
• Manage project delivery from mobilisation to completion.
• Communicate site requirements to the commercial team and seek efficient solutions that balance technical and commercial needs.
• Delegate responsibilities appropriately to site staff.
• Manage site records and ensure contemporaneous documentation is maintained.
• Follow the project execution plan to deliver on time and within budget.
• Implement and oversee an efficient registration system for all individuals entering and leaving the site.
