Job summary

Sisk Group seeks a Senior Site Manager to lead a large-scale construction project in Ireland, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and quality, aligned with programme and commercial goals.

You will supervise Site Managers and subcontractors, uphold health and safety standards, manage site records and progression against milestones, and drive continuous improvement with BIM-enabled practices.

Qualifications

• Substantial site management experience required.
• IOSH or equivalent health & safety training.
• Temporary works and excavation safety training.
• Working at heights and scaffolding training.
• Lifting and cranage operations training.
• Additional HSEQS training as required by site HSE plan.
• Understanding of BIM strategy and new construction technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations to safe, efficient, and on-programme delivery.
• Lead Site Managers, Site Agents, and supervisors to meet project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality procedures.
• Monitor progress against the programme and milestones.
• Coordinate site setup and prepare facilities for project launch.
• Manage subcontractor relationships to protect programme, cost, safety and quality.
• Maintain site records (diaries, Temporary Works, QA logs, HSEQS logs).
• Lead site meetings and communications on priorities and safety.
• Escalate risks to Senior Site Agent or Senior Operations Manager.
• Support commercial and project teams to achieve cost-effective delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, productivity and quality.
• Mentor and develop site staff and succession planning.
