Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan are recruiting a Commercial Manager in Meath to oversee the commercial function, drive profitability and contribute to growth. The role entails leading the Commercial Department, managing budgets, contracts and risk, and maintaining key client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, extensive senior experience in construction commercial management, and strong negotiation and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Proven senior Commercial Management experience in construction.
• Experience leading and developing commercial teams.
• Strong understanding of project financial management, contracts and reporting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Commercial Department and drive performance.
• Oversee project financial performance, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with objectives.
• Oversee major contracts and subcontracts management.
• Identify risks and manage client relationships and external meetings.
