Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is building the next generation of its UI foundation and backend features to support the Kestrel platform. You will work across multiple backend teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable services that empower hundreds of UI engineers and protect customers against breaches.

The role emphasizes distributed systems, API design, and production-grade code with a focus on performance, observability and reliability. Remote work is available with eventual hybrid in Dublin.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in distributed systems.
• Ability to scale backend systems – sharding, partitioning, horizontal scaling.
• Desire to ship production-grade code and see it in production.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges.
• Team-oriented, collaborative mindset with good code review practices.
• Experience applying AI technologies to improve decision-making and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale services.
• Take ownership and be accountable for deliverables.
• Triage system issues and debug impact on operations.
• Mentor other engineers in web and backend engineering practices.
• Continuously improve architecture, testing, observability, and performance.
• Collaborate with product teams to document requirements and implement features.
• Participate in on-call duties to maximize service availability.
