CrowdStrike is seeking a backend software engineer to contribute to the Kestrel UI foundation backend. You will work with distributed systems, APIs, and feature services, collaborating with multiple teams to deliver scalable backend capabilities for the CrowdStrike platform.

The role is open to candidates within 30 miles of Dublin and will start remote, with a future hybrid office presence in Dublin as CrowdStrike expands. A strong emphasis on performance, observability, and security is expected.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience in data structures/algorithms/distributed systems.
• Ability to scale backend systems – sharding, partitioning, and horizontal scaling.
• Love of shipping code and seeing it run in production.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges.
• Team player with collaborative mindset.
• Adheres to engineering best practices and peer reviews.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, test-driven environment.
• Delivers high-quality software with unit tests and CI checks.
• Experience applying AI to improve workflows and outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, document, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale services.
• Take ownership and accountability for deliverables.
• Triage system issues and debug impact on operations.
• Mentor other engineers in web and backend services.
• Continuously re-evaluate architecture, testing, observability and performance.
• Collaborate with product teams to document and implement new features.
• Participate in on-call duties to maximize service availability.
