Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a backend software engineer to help build and maintain the next generation of our UI foundation and backend feature services. This role focuses on scalable Go and Python services, collaborating across multiple teams to deliver secure, high-performance software.

The position is open to candidates within 30 miles of Dublin and offers remote work with expected in-office days as the Dublin office opens.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in CS or equivalent experience.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems and scalable backend design.
• Experience shipping production-grade software.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and testing practices.
• Awareness of security-conscious development and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large scale services.
• Take ownership and be accountable for deliverables.
• Triage system issues and debug by tracing root causes.
• Mentor other engineers on web and backend services.
• Continuously improve architecture, testing, and observability.
• Collaborate with product teams to implement new requirements.
