CrowdStrike Inc. is building the next generation of our UI foundation for the Kestrel platform, delivering scalable backend services to help customers Stop the Breach. You will work with multiple backend and UI teams to design, develop and deploy features at high scale.

This remote role in Ireland offers hybrid options near Dublin in the future. You will mentor peers, own deliverables, and advance architecture, testing, and observability while shipping production-grade software that strengthens

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science (or commensurate experience).
• Ability to scale backend systems – sharding, partitioning, horizontal scaling second nature.
• Desire to ship code and see it in production.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges.
• Team player who collaborates across teams and reviews code effectively.
• Strong engineering practices: testing, CI, and resilient architecture.
• Experience using AI to enhance decision-making and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale services.
• Take ownership and be accountable for deliverables.
• Triage system issues and debug by analyzing sources and impact on operations.
• Mentor other engineers in web and backend feature services.
• Continuously improve architecture, testing coverage, observability, performance, and stability.
• Collaborate with product teams to document requirements and implement features.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities to maximize service availability.
