Job summary

Barden | B Corp is partnering with a large Irish organisation to recruit a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst. The role focuses on turning data into decisions, working with stakeholders to uncover real problems and translating them into actionable reporting and data models.

You'll build visualisations using SAP BW, Datasphere, BO and SAC, own data governance, and continuously improve reports and data flows while shaping the IT capability from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering reporting on the SAP BI stack (BW, Datasphere, BO, SAC).
• Hands-on with SAP BW, SAP BO Analysis for Excel, and SAP SAC.
• Strong data modelling, ETL and performance tuning with high-quality visuals.
• S/4HANA Embedded Analytics CDS views experience; Datasphere in solution architecture is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Turn data into insight for leadership and operations to support decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the real business problem and design reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Build rich, interactive visualisations on SAP BW, Datasphere, BO, and SAC.

This is a rare ground floor hire: the business is moving from an outsourced model to a team it owns and builds itself - and this is one of the people who will shape how the organisation turns its data into decisions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Turn data into insight that leadership and operations across the business rely on to make decisions.
• Work directly with stakeholders to get to the real business problem, then design the reporting, dashboards, and data models that answer it.
• Build rich, interactive visualisations on SAP BW, Datasphere, BO, and SAC - bringing large, complex datasets to life.
• Own data quality, consistency, and governance across the BI platforms.
• Optimise the performance of existing reports and data flows, and continuously improve what's already there.

ABOUT THE PERSON

• Experience developing reporting solutions across the SAP BI stack - SAP BW, Datasphere, BO, and SAC.
• Strong hands on expertise with SAP BW, SAP BO Analysis for Excel, and SAP SAC.
• Solid data modelling, ETL, and performance tuning skills, with a track record of high-quality data visualisations.
• S/4HANA Embedded Analytics (CDS views) experience; leveraging SAP Datasphere in solution architecture is an advantage.
