Job summary

Engage People Recruitment is seeking a senior Business Intelligence & AI Architect in Ireland to own the BI and AI architecture, including data models, governance, dashboards, forecasting and AI-powered insights.

You will collaborate with finance, commercial, operations and project teams to deliver scalable, accurate reporting and practical AI adoption across the business.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Business Central, including data modelling, integrations and reporting.
• Proven track record delivering Power BI and Solver solutions.
• Experience working with financial data, forecasting and performance reporting.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled reporting and Microsoft Copilot.
• Experience designing data governance, reporting controls and master data processes.
• A good understanding of ETL/ELT, data integration and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Ability to turn complex business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly around data accuracy and reporting quality.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Business Intelligence & AI Architect to help shape a well-established Irish business' capabilities around data, financial reporting and artificial intelligence. This is a senior, hands‑on role where you’ll take ownership of the company’s BI and AI architecture — from data models and governance through to dashboards, forecasting and AI-powered insights. You’ll work closely with finance, commercial, operations and project teams to make sure people can access accurate, useful information quickly and easily.

What we’re looking for

You’ll likely have experience in a senior BI, data architecture, data engineering or similar role, along with:
