Job summary

Barden | B Corp is partnering with a large Irish organisation to hire a Master Data Governance Analyst. The role combines hands-on data profiling, data quality improvements, and governance embedding across an SAP landscape.

You will use SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI and Excel to report insights, shape data standards, and work with data owners and IT to ensure GDPR compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience with SAP master data or enterprise data environments.
• Hands-on experience analysing, validating, and maintaining large datasets to resolve quality issues.
• Solid grasp of data governance - ownership, stewardship, and standards.
• Advanced Excel; experience with SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Analyse SAP master data to find quality issues, duplicates, and gaps, and get to the root cause.
• Build and maintain data quality controls, validation rules, and exception reporting.
• Help shape and embed master data standards and governance processes with data and process owners.
• Support compliance with internal controls, audit, and GDPR requirements.
• Report and share insight using SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, and Excel.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is roughly 70% hands-on master data work - profiling, analysing, and root-causing data quality issues across a broad SAP landscape - and 30% governance, embedding the standards, ownership, and stewardship that keep master data trusted across the business.

• Analyse SAP master data to find quality issues, duplicates, and gaps, and get to the root cause.
• Build and maintain data quality controls, validation rules, and exception reporting.
• Help shape and embed master data standards and governance processes with data and process owners.
• Support compliance with internal controls, audit, and GDPR requirements.
• Report and share insight using SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, and Excel.

ABOUT THE PERSON

• 3-5 years' experience with SAP master data or enterprise data environments.
• Hands on experience analysing, validating, and maintaining large, complex datasets, with a track record of resolving quality issues through profiling and root cause analysis.
• Solid grasp of, and genuine interest in, data governance - ownership, stewardship, and standards.
• Advanced Excel, plus tools like SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI.
• Strong stakeholder and communication skills, comfortable working across business and IT.
• Bonus: exposure to SAP S/4HANA, a formal MDM/data governance framework, or ERP transformation.
