We are partnering with an established Financial Institution to hire a Senior Business Analyst & Project Manager (Corporate Tech). In this high-visibility role, you will be the critical bridge between technology and key corporate functions (such as HR, Risk, and Corporate Communications).
You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, frequently deputizing for the team lead and facing off directly with C-level stakeholders. This is not just a standard BA role; it is a multi-program delivery and stakeholder leadership position where you will drive strategic technology transformations.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Delivery & PMO: Lead complex, interdependent projects from initiation through to deployment. Maintain rigorous PMO governance covering RAID logs, dependencies, change requests, and executive status reporting.
- Functional Business Analysis: Partner directly with business units to elicit, validate, and prioritize requirements. Translate these into robust functional specifications, to-be process designs, and delivery artifacts.
- Executive Stakeholder Leadership: Provide credible advisory and governance oversight. Align cross-functional teams across competing priorities and influence decision-making at the highest levels.
- Commercial & Vendor Governance: Take accountability for vendor management, including leading RFP processes, evaluating service providers, and managing Statements of Work (SoW).
- Risk & Quality Assurance: Ensure operational risk, compliance, and control deliverables are met. Oversee test planning, SIT/UAT support, and operational readiness.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in banking, financial services, or management consulting.
- Skillset: A proven track record operating in a hybrid PM / BA capacity. You must be just as comfortable writing detailed business requirements as you are managing multi-stream project plans.
- Gravitas: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. You are resourceful, hands-on, and capable of managing ambiguity under pressure.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of banking context is mandatory. Candidates transitioning from a consultancy background are highly encouraged to apply.
- Advantageous: Previous exposure to technology implementations within internal corporate functions (e.g., HR systems like Workday, employee experience platforms, or corporate communications tools).
