Job summary

Facade Today is seeking a Senior BIM Coordinator based in Ireland to lead BIM coordination across multiple projects within a leading mechanical contractor. You will own the coordination of models, deliver coordinated BIM outputs, and support project teams through design and construction phases.

The role emphasizes clash detection, BIM execution planning, and mentorship of junior BIM staff. A strong background in M&E coordination and large-scale projects is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven BIM coordination experience within construction or building services.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical services coordination.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
• Advanced Revit and Navisworks experience.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards and project workflows.
• Experience carrying out clash detection and model coordination.

Responsibilities

• Leading BIM coordination across multiple projects.
• Managing model federation, coordination and clash detection processes.
• Producing and reviewing coordinated BIM models.
• Supporting project teams throughout design and construction phases.
• Chairing BIM coordination meetings with consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• Developing BIM execution plans and project workflows.
• Managing BIM deliverables and project documentation.
• Ensuring projects comply with BIM standards and client requirements.
• Supporting construction teams with model-based project delivery.
• Mentoring and developing junior BIM Coordinators and BIM Technicians.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and BIM innovation.
• Supporting digital construction and project delivery initiatives.
