Job summary

Weltec is seeking a Lead BIM Coordinator to lead BIM and engineering coordination across projects in Ireland. You will manage a multidisciplinary team, drive clash detection, ensure deliverables meet client requirements, and promote digital delivery workflows.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors, review design information, and guide the transition to off-site manufacturing while maintaining quality and schedule integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading BIM coordination on multiple projects.
• Ability to review engineering drawings and P&IDs.
• Strong communication and collaboration with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day BIM and engineering coordination across projects.
• Manage and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of BIM detailers, engineers and support staff.
• Monitor workload, performance and progress to meet milestones and quality standards.
• Review and coordinate design information including layouts, P&IDs and schematics.
• Identify design gaps and coordination issues early and drive resolution.
• Oversee model federation, clash detection and coordination reviews.
• Host and chair weekly coordination meetings with project teams and clients.
• Perform model QA/QC to meet client specs and company standards.
• Support transition to Off-Site Manufacturing and digital delivery workflows.
• Capture and share lessons learned to improve future delivery.
