Job summary

Frey Consulting Group is recruiting a Senior BIM Coordinator for a leading mechanical contractor in Ireland. You will take ownership of BIM coordination across multiple projects, delivering coordinated models and project information throughout the lifecycle.

Working with design managers, engineers and site teams, you will lead clash detection, BIM execution planning and model reviews, while mentoring junior BIM staff and driving BIM standards. Dublin area preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven BIM coordination experience within construction or building services.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical services coordination.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
• Advanced Revit and Navisworks experience.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards and project workflows.
• Experience carrying out clash detection and model coordination.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience mentoring or leading BIM personnel would be advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing model federation, coordination and clash detection processes.
• Producing and reviewing coordinated BIM models.
• Supporting project teams throughout design and construction phases.
• Chairing BIM coordination meetings with consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• Developing BIM execution plans and project workflows.
• Managing BIM deliverables and project documentation.
• Ensuring projects comply with BIM standards and client requirements.
• Supporting construction teams with model-based project delivery.
• Mentoring and developing junior BIM Coordinators and BIM Technicians.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and BIM innovation.
