Job summary

Frey Consulting Group is recruiting a Senior BIM Coordinator for a leading mechanical contractor in Ireland. You will take ownership of BIM coordination across multiple projects, delivering coordinated models and project information throughout the lifecycle.

Working with design managers, engineers and site teams, you will lead clash detection, BIM execution planning and model reviews, while mentoring junior BIM staff and driving BIM standards. Dublin area preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven BIM coordination experience within construction or building services.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical services coordination.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
• Advanced Revit and Navisworks experience.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards and project workflows.
• Experience carrying out clash detection and model coordination.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience mentoring or leading BIM personnel would be advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a leading mechanical engineering contractor delivering complex mechanical and building services projects across Ireland. With a strong reputation for quality, technical expertise and project delivery, they continue to secure major projects within the pharmaceutical, data centre, healthcare, commercial and industrial sectors.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior BIM Coordinator to strengthen their design and project delivery team.

THE ROLE:

The successful Senior BIM Coordinator will take ownership of BIM coordination activities across multiple projects, ensuring the effective delivery of coordinated models and project information throughout the project lifecycle.

Working closely with Design Managers, Contracts Managers, Engineers, Consultants and Site Teams, you will play a critical role in project planning, clash detection, coordination and BIM execution.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing model federation, coordination and clash detection processes

THE PERSON:

We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience within mechanical contracting, M&E contracting, building services consultancy or construction environments. Candidates currently working as Senior BIM Coordinators, BIM Leads, BIM Managers or experienced BIM Coordinators looking to progress their careers are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven BIM coordination experience within construction or building services
