eir seeks a Senior Bid Manager to lead large, high-value opportunities across telecommunications, managed services, cloud and digital transformation. You will develop winning strategies, influence senior stakeholders and guide virtual bid teams while mentoring junior colleagues.

With 7+ years in bid management, you will drive governance, money alignment and executive reviews, ensuring bids align with strategic objectives and commercial goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' bid management experience.
• Demonstrated success leading large and complex bids.
• Experience managing strategic public and private sector opportunities.
• Strong commercial, financial and contractual understanding.
• Experience leading virtual teams and senior stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent proposal writing and presentation skills.
• Proven leadership and mentoring capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, strategic and high-value opportunities.
• Develop pursuit strategies and win plans.
• Provide qualification guidance and opportunity assessment.
• Shape opportunities prior to formal tender release where possible.
• Lead cross-functional bid teams throughout the bid lifecycle.
• Manage bid budgets, resources and delivery timelines.
• Drive compliance, quality and governance reviews.
• Oversee executive reviews and sign-off processes.
• Ensure bids align with company strategy and commercial objectives.
• Partner with Sales Directors, Account Directors and Leadership Teams.
• Facilitate bid workshops and strategy sessions.
• Build strong relationships across technical, commercial and operational functions.
• Influence decision-making at senior leadership level.
• Support development of bid methodologies and best practice.
• Mentor Bid Managers and Junior Bid Managers.
• Drive improvements in win rates and bid quality.
• Champion APMP and business-winning best practices
