Job summary

Muck Rack is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Revenue Engineering team to design, build, and evolve backend services that connect our product with commercial systems. You’ll deliver scalable, event-driven integrations powering provisioning, subscriptions, and lifecycle automation.

Collaborate with Product, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Salesforce partners to ensure reliable, maintainable architecture and self-service capabilities across the revenue platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Python and Django production experience.
• REST API design and third-party integrations.
• Relational DBs (MySQL) and ORM patterns.
• Experience with SaaS backend services.
• Event-driven architectures with Kafka/Celery.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services and apps with Python/Django powering provisioning and lifecycle workflows.
• Design APIs and event-driven integrations with Salesforce, Stripe, and others.
• Evolve the internal integration platform for scalable services.
• Collaborate with Product, Revenue Ops, Finance, and Salesforce partners on patterns and contracts.
• Lead the technical design and delivery of medium-to-large initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and improve reliability and observability.
