Phorest Software in Dublin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Integrations & Partnerships Team. You will help build and maintain Phorest's partnership platform by implementing integrations and exposing capabilities through our API.

You will work with modern cloud technologies like Docker and Serverless, shaping a high-scale, distributed system that serves millions of users globally.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with object-oriented software design and at least 5 years of professional experience in Java.
• Experience in building RESTful APIs; GraphQL is a bonus.
• Ability to reason about trade-offs when discussing backend technologies.
• Commitment to high coding standards, quality, and maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Push the boundaries of modern backend development to build fast, ambitious web applications that will delight our clients.
• Collaborate with product teams to deliver features with significant business impact.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and improve backend performance and developer experience.
• Work with design and frontend teams to build intuitive UI components and robust APIs.
• Demonstrate and drive clean code, testing, and maintainable architectures.
