Job summary

Grafana Labs is hiring a Senior Engineer for Pyroscope, a distributed profiling platform. This remote role focuses on building scalable ingestion, storage, and query components, with leadership on end-to-end projects and direct interaction with customers.

You will work across Grafana’s observability stack, contribute to open source, and help shape product strategy in a fully remote environment. In Ireland, compensation ranges from €104,000 to €124,800 with RSUs and a 30-day annual leave policy,

Qualifications

• Solid experience with a systems language (Go, Rust, C/C++, Python, Java).
• Distributed systems in production.
• Product sense and customer focus (no dedicated PM).
• Curiosity and courage to challenge status quo.
• Strong software craftsmanship and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to rollout, including design, delivery, and customer follow-up.
• Design, build, and operate core components of a distributed database (ingestion, storage, query).
• Wear the product hat and translate customer pain points into deliverables.
