Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Engineer for Pyroscope, our open-source continuous profiling database behind Grafana Cloud. You will own end-to-end projects, drive profiling integration with observability, and shape the roadmap with customer and community feedback.

Join a fully remote role that emphasizes AI/LLM tooling, multi-tenant SaaS operations on Kubernetes, and OSS collaboration. You’ll collaborate across Grafana squads and contribute to a scalable, cost-efficient platform.

Qualifications

• Senior Engineer with end-to-end ownership of projects in a distributed backend system.
• Strong background in profiling and performance engineering (flamegraphs, pprof, perf).
• Experience operating multi-tenant SaaS on Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
• Open-source contributor or maintainer with comfort engaging an open community.
• Ability to design APIs and tooling for AI/LLM consumption and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own meaningful projects from concept to rollout, including design and delivery.
• Build, operate, and optimize core Pyroscope components (ingestion, storage, query).
• Collaborate across Grafana squads to integrate profiling with observability workflows.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and post-incident learning.
• Mentor teammates and drive architectural improvements across teams.
