Job summary

Grafana Labs is hiring a Senior Engineer for Pyroscope, a key part of Grafana Cloud. This fully remote role focuses on building a scalable profiling platform and integrating with the Grafana stack.

You will own end-to-end projects, partner across squads, and contribute to open source while maintaining a strong engineering discipline. You will work with a distributed team, drive architectural decisions, and push for operational excellence, with compensation documented for Ireland and RSU

Qualifications

• Solid experience with a systems language (Go) and distributed systems in production.
• Ability to talk with customers, translate pain points into deliverables, and drive product direction.
• Curiosity, courage, and strong software craftsmanship are highly valued.
• Operational mindset with pager/SRE-like experience and willingness to own incidents.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to rollout, including design, delivery, and follow-up with customers.
• Design, build, and operate core components of a distributed database (ingestion, storage, query).
• Wear the product hat: collaborate with non-PM teammates to shape the roadmap and deliverables.
• Drive operational excellence and cost efficiency, reducing toil through automation.
