Job summary

Grafana Labs, the company behind the open observability cloud, is a remote-first organization with a global team. We’re scaling our Platform/AppCore stacks to reliably create, configure, reconcile, migrate, and operate Grafana Cloud environments at scale.

The role focuses on building production-grade stack control-plane services, improving runbooks, dashboards, and reconciliation processes, while collaborating across many teams to deliver robust customer and internal workflows.

Qualifications

• Professional experience with Golang in a SaaS/distributed system environment.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with incident response and post-incident reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate stack orchestration for Grafana Cloud environments.
• Own production behavior including runbooks, dashboards, and alerts; ensure safe rollouts.
• Collaborate across squads and product teams to drive stack lifecycle work.
• Lead major projects and define technical direction for AppCore/Stacks domain.
• Communicate tradeoffs and iterate on safe, modular solutions.
