Rhythm Careers in Central Dublin seeks an experienced Senior Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist to lead major design packages within a busy data centre team. You’ll drive technical excellence and collaborate across consultants, mentoring junior staff to keep projects moving from concept through handover.
Data centre experience is advantageous but not essential; a strong track record on complex schemes in other sectors will also be considered.
We are working with an established, design led architecture practice based in Central Dublin. The practice delivers complex, technically demanding projects across a range of sectors, with its data centre team being one of its busiest and fastest growing areas. It’s a collaborative studio where people take real ownership of their projects, have a say in how things are delivered and are supported through hands on mentoring.
The data centre team is looking for an experienced Senior Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist to take responsibility for significant parts of large, fast moving projects. You’ll act as a key technical lead within the design team, working closely with consultants, supporting junior team members and helping keep projects moving from concept through to handover.
Data centre experience is advantageous but not essential. If you have a strong track record delivering complex projects in other sectors, the team would still be very interested in hearing from you.
You’ll be involved across RIAI Workstages 1–8, taking ownership of major packages on large scale schemes and working closely with MEP, structural, civil and other consultants. You’ll oversee technical drawings and documentation, help resolve design and construction issues, ensure projects meet Irish Building Regulations and contribute to design reviews and technical workshops. There will also be plenty of opportunity to support and mentor junior colleagues, manage deadlines and flag any risks early.
The package includes a discretionary annual performance bonus, an annual bonus voucher, up to 3% matched pension contribution, 21 days’ annual leave plus Good Friday and strong learning and development support. This includes course fees, paid study leave and in house training, alongside death in service cover, income protection, enhanced family leave and flexible working.
You’ll also have access to Tax Saver and Bike to Work schemes, as well as an active sports and social club.
