Job summary

Morgan McKinley is recruiting a Senior Process Commercialisation Engineer for a leading global pharmaceutical organisation in Ireland. You will own process development, scale-up and technology transfer to enable commercial manufacture of API products.

The role requires 5+ years in pharmaceutical API manufacturing or process development, with strong cross‑functional leadership and problem‑solving abilities. You will collaborate with global R&D and regulatory teams to deliver robust processes for

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical API manufacturing or process development.
Strong knowledge of chemical API processing and scale-up.
Experience with commercialisation, NPI or technology transfer.
Track record of solving complex technical/manufacturing problems.
Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

Lead and support new product introductions and technology transfers.
Develop, optimise and scale-up chemical API processes.
Support commercial manufacturing campaigns and process readiness.
Troubleshoot technical issues and lead deviation investigations.
Work across process safety, validation, regulatory and environmental activities.
Identify process constraints and opportunities for improvement.
Work closely with global R&D and cross-functional teams.
Provide technical leadership and develop subject matter expertise in API processing.
