Job summary

Morgan McKinley is recruiting a Senior Process Commercialisation Engineer for a leading global pharmaceutical organisation in Ireland. You will own process development, scale-up and technology transfer to enable commercial manufacture of API products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical API manufacturing or process development.
• Strong knowledge of chemical API processing and scale-up.

• Track record of solving complex technical/manufacturing problems.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support new product introductions and technology transfers.
• Develop, optimise and scale-up chemical API processes.
• Support commercial manufacturing campaigns and process readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and lead deviation investigations.
• Work across process safety, validation, regulatory and environmental activities.

I’m currently supporting a leading global pharmaceutical organisation with the appointment of a Senior Process Commercialisation Engineer at their manufacturing site in Ireland.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced API process engineer / process development professional who enjoys working at the point where process development, scale-up, technology transfer and commercial manufacturing come together.

The role will play a key part in bringing new products and technologies into commercial manufacture, as well as supporting transfers to and from the site.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Leading and supporting new product introductions and technology transfers
• Process development, optimisation and scale-up of chemical API processes
• Supporting commercial manufacturing campaigns and process readiness
