Job summary

MSD in Ireland seeks a Process Commercialisation Senior Engineer to support internal and external manufacturing, drive continuous improvement and enable successful product launches. You will lead cross-functional teams in new product introductions and tech transfers, develop API processing, piloting, and validation, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Chemical Engineering background with at least 5 years in pharma API manufacturing or process development

Qualifications

• Qualification in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years post-graduation in pharmaceutical API manufacturing or process development.
• Proven ability to motivate others and implement improvement initiatives.
• Ability to work in diverse, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the site on new product introduction or technical transfer to/from the site.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results within launch milestones.
• Develop and optimize API processes, participate in campaign prep, safety and regulatory reviews.
• Explain complex projects across boundaries and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Drive problem solving, deviation investigations, and filing strategies.
