Job summary

Jobgether in Ireland is seeking an Engineering Manager, AI Product Development to lead a remote‑first engineering team focused on AI-enabled products and modern software platforms. You will stay closely involved in architecture, technical decisions, and complex implementation challenges.

You will drive AI-assisted development practices, balance performance and cost, collaborate with product, design, and operations, and influence engineering culture, reliability, and modernization across

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.
Experience leading engineering teams, mentoring developers, and owning technical delivery.
Hands-on AI capabilities integration (LLMs, AI agents, RAG) into products or processes.
Strong web development experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
Design scalable APIs and cloud-native applications; PostgreSQL or MySQL knowledge.
Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, observability, production operations.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of senior software engineers and promote technical excellence.
Partner with Product, Design, Operations to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Shape architecture by designing scalable systems and actionable plans.
Drive AI-assisted development workflows to boost productivity and quality.
Oversee CI/CD improvements, testing, observability, and reliability.
Stay hands-on in architecture, implementation, and proof-of-concept work.
Foster asynchronous collaboration across globally distributed teams.
