Job summary

Jobgether, listed on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Senior Automation Specialist based in Ireland to transform complex operational processes through AI and intelligent workflow design.

You will own automation initiatives from discovery through production deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement, collaborating with operational leaders to remove manual hours and boost reliability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional automation experience with proven automations that replace manual work.
• Proven ability to integrate APIs and connect disparate systems.
• Hands-on experience with low-code/workflow platforms such as n8n.
• Experience building AI agents in real workflows (Claude/Codex or similar).
• Strong systems-thinking to translate complex processes into automation architectures.
• Experience delivering automation in engineering environments with proper testing and QA.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain intelligent automation and reasoning layers for operational workflows.
• Translate complex manual processes into scalable automation with domain experts.
• Build AI agents using Claude, Codex, or equivalent technologies with testing and QA.
• Define business rules, data quality controls, and safety gates for automated workflows.
• Connect internal systems and third-party services via APIs, webhooks, and n8n.
• Navigate complex integration environments to connect unplanned systems.
• Develop frontend applications and automation components using TypeScript in cloud-native infra.
• Deploy and maintain solutions via GitHub and GitHub Actions on AWS with S3/databases.
• Own automation projects end-to-end from discovery to production deployment and iteration.
• Collaborate with leaders across payments, debt, tendering, partner activation, and other functions to identify high-impact opportunities.
• Continuously reprioritize initiatives by operational impact and measurable benefits.
• Monitor production workflows, address errors, and improve automations from real-world feedback.
• Stay current with AI tooling innovations and apply useful ones.
