Job summary

Fin, the AI Customer Agent company, seeks a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer to partner with strategic customers, design and implement solutions, and bridge business goals with Fin’s AI Agent for Customer Service. You will own outcomes with autonomy and influence product direction across field use cases.

You’ll work closely with Go-To-Market teams, travel to customer sites as needed, and mentor engineers while shaping the Forward Deployed Engineering function in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• Autonomous decision-making and accountability for outcomes (e.g., 2+ years as primary technical leader).
• Interest in AI/ML with ability to ramp up on new concepts quickly.
• Cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Success, Product, and GTM teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead adoption with prospects to unlock Fin's AI capabilities for scaling support.
• Embed with strategic customers to understand challenges and guide them to success.
• Work hands-on with customers’ technical teams, coding alongside to drive projects to completion.
• Collaborate with Sales, Success, and Product to ensure seamless experiences and timely feedback.
• Lead and evolve the Forward Deployed Engineering function and set the取direction as it grows.
• Leverage relationships with strategic accounts to anticipate challenges and influence decisions.
• Mentor Forward Deployed Engineers and Solutions Engineers as the team scales.
