Job summary

Irish Life Group Services Limited is seeking a senior actuary to serve as Head of Actuarial Reporting / Deputy Head of Actuarial Function in Dublin. You will lead the Actuarial Reporting team, shape strategy, and oversee projections across Solvency II, IFRS and LICAT while collaborating with wide-ranging stakeholders.

The role requires a qualified actuary with extensive post-qualification experience, strong technical expertise, and proven leadership to drive change and improve methodologies

Qualifications

• 10+ years post qualification experience in actuarial reporting, financial reporting or related areas.
• Strong technical actuarial expertise with understanding of financial, capital and regulatory requirements.
• Strong strategic and commercial judgement with ability to translate actuarial insight into business implications.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to develop and motivate a sizeable professional team.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels, and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Actuarial Reporting team, setting strategic direction and delivery plans.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial and capital reporting across Solvency II, IFRS and LICAT across ILA lines.
• Provide leadership on complex actuarial, financial and capital matters and influence senior decision-making.
• Drive development of actuarial reporting approaches and processes balancing local needs with European/global priorities.
• Represent Actuarial Reporting with senior Finance, Actuarial and business stakeholders across ILA and broader group.
• Lead, develop and motivate the team, building capability and fostering a collaborative culture.
