Job description

Our client is a leading professional services firm seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join their Non-Life Actuarial team in Dublin.

This is a highly visible role with strong cross-functional exposure, offering the opportunity to influence strategic decision‑making, develop client relationships, and work alongside senior stakeholders across actuarial, finance, consulting, and risk advisory.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver core actuarial advisory projects reserving, product development, peer reviews, risk management, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting (IFRS 17, Solvency II)
• Drive multi-disciplinary engagements spanning ESG, M&A, due diligence, audit, and enterprise risk management
• Contribute to Head of Actuarial Function engagements, including actuarial reserving and review work
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding business needs and ensuring exceptional service delivery
• Support practice growth through external networking, business development, and thought leadership on emerging regulatory trends

Requirements

• Qualified actuary with substantial experience in a senior or leadership role
• Sound knowledge of the non‑life (re)insurance industry and the Irish market
• Proven track record managing teams, projects, and senior stakeholders
• Experience of Solvency II and/or IFRS 17 reporting advantageous
• Audit or consulting experience advantageous but not essential
