Job summary

Aviva Ireland is seeking an experienced Actuarial Projects Lead to drive actuarial reporting improvements and strategic change across the Actuarial & Assurance team. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver governance, embed change, and enhance reporting capabilities.

This leadership role requires guiding cross-functional efforts and translating regulatory needs into practical project plans with measurable outcomes, in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Actuarial qualification with extensive post-qualification experience including financial reporting.
• Proven track record in leading complex projects, change programmes and strategic initiatives in regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of Solvency II, IFRS and actuarial reporting requirements; translate to practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to challenge constructively and make clear recommendations.
• Strong leadership capability; manage competing priorities in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of actuarial reporting projects and strategic change initiatives.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into project plans; coordinate resources across actuarial and wider teams.
• Ensure governance, risk management and controls are embedded in delivery for robust financial reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, Customer Experience, Change and iCare to embed change into BAU operations.
• Drive continuous improvement by streamlining reporting processes and increasing automation.
