Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a Senior Accountant to support high-quality financial reporting, month-end close, and accounting operations for a portfolio of international clients. You will partner with internal and client stakeholders in a fast-paced BPO environment, contributing to finance transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification with 3–5 years' post-qualification experience in financial reporting or RTR.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in month-end close.
• Experience reviewing complex reconciliations and collaborating with multi-jurisdictional teams.

Responsibilities

• Review month-end journals, accruals, prepayments, payroll, and intercompany entries.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis for multiple entities.
• Support financial statements and management reporting packs, ensuring accuracy and deadlines.
• Assist with ERP implementations, system enhancements, and finance transformation projects.
• Coach and mentor junior team members within a shared services/BPO environment.
