Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a qualified financial reporting professional to work with asset management clients on financial reporting engagements, business process reviews and remediation projects, and interim staffing assignments.

You will collaborate with fund administrators, auditors and internal reviewers to meet deadlines, and you will use AI tools for disclosure drafting, document comparison and checklists while ensuring accuracy.

Qualifications

ACA/ACCA/CPA qualification or IFAC equivalent required.
2–3 years in financial services, preferably asset management or auditing.
Strong IFRS knowledge and familiarity with GAAP frameworks.
Excellent Excel and Office skills; attention to detail and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Prepare annual and interim financial statements for investment funds under IFRS/GAAP.
Conduct tie-outs, prior-year comparisons and first-level checks; maintain clear supporting documentation.
Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors and internal reviewers to resolve queries and meet deadlines.
Use approved AI tools for disclosure drafting, document comparison and checklist support.
Validate AI-generated content against source records and elevate accounting, data or confidentiality concerns.
