Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a Senior Accountant to deliver high-quality financial reporting, month-end close, and accounting operations for international clients within a fast-paced BPO environment.

You will oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions, collaborate with stakeholders across offices, and contribute to ERP implementations and finance transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified with approx 3–5 years post-qualification experience in financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close and financial reporting processes.
• Experience reviewing complex reconciliations and multi-entity environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with ERP platforms (NetSuite, Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Review and approve month-end journal entries and intercompany transactions.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Support preparation of financial statements and management reporting.
• Lead process improvement projects and ERP-related initiatives.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
