Job summary

Archer Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking an IT / Cyber Security Lead to own cybersecurity for an expanding international group. You will work with the Group IT Manager to strengthen security, develop policies and drive regulatory compliance across markets in a hands-on role based in Galway.

The role offers autonomy to shape the security function, oversee external MSP, and deliver improvements while managing incident response and DR planning. Occasional travel to Ireland/UK is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT security or a related technical role.
• Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, VPNs and infrastructure security.
• Experience creating and maintaining security policies and documentation.
• Understanding of NIS2, ISO 27001, GDPR or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own cybersecurity across an expanding international group.
• Drive security policies, compliance, risk management and audits.
• Oversee the external MSP and work directly with the Group IT Manager.
• Strengthen incident response, business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Shape the security function with genuine autonomy.
