Job summary

Archer is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Identity & Access Management in Dublin. This hands-on leadership role focuses on building security capabilities that protect enterprise customers, including AI agents, service accounts, and workload identities.

You will own architecture, code, and engineering direction, collaborating with Security Research and Data Science to turn emerging problems into production software. The role is hybrid with a Dublin office and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Production software engineering experience in a software product environment.
• Hands-on experience building identity or security capabilities.
• Strong distributed systems and cloud architecture skills.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, credentials, and permissions.
• Experience with AI agents, service accounts or workload identities is relevant.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery from identity data ingestion to customer-facing findings.
• Shape product understanding of identities, permissions, behaviour, and risk.
• Build capabilities for human accounts, AI agents, and machine identities.
• Lead complex designs, contribute code, and mentor engineers.
• Work with Python, AWS and Terraform, with AI tooling.
